First Loss Suffered

The boys suffered their first loss Tuesday night.

Another night under the lights.

The kids were at it again against a quick TJ White team.

But the Grey team was trying to do their part.

Goin for some yardage.

Looking on.

Headed down field.

There were some equipment problems.

Defense spent more time on the field this game.

The principal was checking up on the 6th graders.

Some advice from the coach.

Personal Foul. 15 yards against the Ref. Hmm, how would that work?

Trying to get lined up...

...on the line.

There that will work.

Goin for the flag.

Stopping them just before the goal line.

Discussing the play.

A bit of communication between the center and quarterback.

The sidelines.

The onlookers.

That was it. TJ White was triumphant.
I did hear someone say that they have been practicing 4-5 times a week and they were a quick team.
After the game it appeared that there may be a possibility that TJ White could have a different coach for forthcoming games. This based upon disagreement between the coach and a parent that was voiced after the game.

Here a are a couple of pics that go out to our Number 1 overseas fan.

Videotape

Chris' mom (#3), Sherry White, mentioned that she has been videotaping the boys games and offered to make copies for those interested, if they would bring an extra VCR along with a blank video tape at the end of the season.

Game 2 - Same Results - A Tie

Waiting for photo time.

A little suspicious of the guy with the camera.

Team meeting. No mouthpieces in for pictures.

Focus. Oh wait, that is what I was suppose to do. Oops.

Did you see that spider on the ground.

No really there is a spider down there.

Warm up?

Lewis and Clark Grey Team

Now what was it we were suppose to do?

Doing the Mo and Curly routine.

Like mother, like daughter.

Can anyone figure out how these belts work?

Down, Set

Hike

The pitch.

A coaching moment. Don't do what those kids are doing.

Huddle.

Hike.

The fake.

Now run.

The coin toss. Hey any of you kids have a quarter?

In action.

Headed down field.

The sidelines watch the action.

I once caught a fish this big.

Guys, there is no way he caught a fish that big.

Yikes, there is a bee, everybody run like crazy.

It is on that guy in blue. Slap it.

Grab that flag. Maybe we should put some extra flags in the boys pockets, then they wouldn't even have to bother with grabbing them off of other peoples belts.

Or you could throw another one on when they take it off.

Get him.

Another huddle.

Game over.

Congratulations to another team.

Good game team.

Hi coach.
